This bit is not to be used for riding your horse. Instead, the Chifney is designed to help lead horses who are known to rear. The V-shaped mouthpiece applies pressure to the horse’s tongue, helping to prevent rearing and keeping your horse calmer.

Please note the Chifney is a very strong bit and should only be used for guiding difficult horses when necessary.
